The impact of Youtube

Youtube nowadays not only served as a form of entertainment, but many people access it for various purposes with the intention of widening their knowledge. As can be seen, the impact of Youtube to the people is growing very big. Me as a student, ever since I began my college life, whenever I can’t understand the lesson that was explained by our professors, I would access the Youtube site and watches online tutorials there. Since then I often access the Youtube site. It became a not only a hobby but a need to watch videos on Youtube because I know that watching a lot of videos and tutorials there can widen my knowledge. Also, whenever I wanted to cook something, it became a tool of teaching me the steps on how to cook that certain dish and I didn’t have to bother my mom anymore.

Youtube can help to improve education through the uploading of online video tutorials which can help students to comprehend the lessons better and have some other ideas about the topic that he or she is learning. Also, it can help enhances the education through the uploading of online lectures that help the students to have a better understanding on the lesson rather than wasting their time copying notes which may affect their focus of attention on the lecture in class.  

10 years from now, Youtube might already be well developed. It might have a private server on each of the country like Youtube China, Youtube Philippines etc. Also, there might be a decreasing percentage on the schools holding the lesson inside a classroom in the future. These schools may just depend on the Youtube through uploading the lectures online and have the students to view it. Also, in the future there might have been a lot of videos uploaded already and whenever people would search for anything, everything might have been available in videos.
